Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the terrabrin game, launcher, website, and hosted server services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, downloading the game, or connecting to a server, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.

2. The game & licence

terrabrin's single-player game is free to download and play. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game for your own non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the client except where that right cannot be restricted by law.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Online play — the public server and private dedicated servers — requires a paid subscription. Prices are shown at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card details.
Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

4. Private servers

If you subscribe to a private dedicated server, you control its allowlist and are responsible for the conduct of players you invite. We may suspend or reap a server that is used to break these Terms or that is left unpaid.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Cheat, exploit, or use unauthorised third-party software to gain an advantage.
Harass, threaten, or harm other players, or post unlawful or hateful content.
Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other accounts.
Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

6. User content

Worlds, builds, chat, and other content you create remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, back up, and transmit that content so the Service can operate. You are responsible for content you share with others.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to a server if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Some provisions — such as those on liability and governing law — survive termination.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the date above; continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
